This year, three HHS students got the honor: seniors Ethan Malcolm and Ryan Secrist and freshman Cindy Liu. Malcolm and Secrist received their honor for percussion while Liu received it for the oboe. Chamber Orchestra members are required to participate in more performances than in the other groups. The pieces are longer and more challenging. Members may be required to play in the pit orchestra for the musical in the spring. Students in Chamber Orchestra are required to audition for Senior Regional Orchestra in September (fee $5.00).Robinson Secondary School will be well-represented at the Senior and Junior District Orchestra performance at George Mason University on January 8th, 2022.
