The Maryland Food Bank distributes food to every county in Maryland, with the exception of Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, which receive assistance from the Capital Area Food Bank. Our Baltimore Office serves as our headquarters, housing administrative and programs staff, while also being the largest of our three warehouses.

After selecting a site and drop-off date, we deliver thousands of pounds of food by truck, and immediately unload and distribute it directly to food-insecure community members. Each Pantry on the Go event provides enough produce and/or non-perishable foods to feed about 200 families on average, and sometimes up to 600 families in a single day. The Maryland Food Bank is on pace to distribute more than 52 million pounds of food which is a 20 percent jump in comparison to pre-COVID times.
