A tamper (the machine might come with one, but sometimes it really sucks). A scale that can do 0.1g. A cheap one is fine, try amazon. What you probably want: A knock box.A well done espresso shot will linger for a few hours while a milk (cappuccino, latte, etc) drink can be savored. Even though a shot can be slugged back, it still sticks around.
