You'd go to the enclave for it and need two of the same weapon, you choose which barrel and mag mod to keep and you get the perk collum selection of both guns to choose from. This is huge, and likely the solution. Go pick up the quests from the Relic Conduit in the enclave. The relic in the Enclave gives you Foundry Forging, a quest where you gain the patterns for both Ammit AR2 and Taipan-4fr.
